What age can my child start
Children are welcome to start ballet from the age of 3. Those wishing to start modern and tap need to be 5.
Does my child need a uniform
With the exception of the nursery class all classes have a standard uniform that should be worn at all times. The uniform list can be downloaded below:

I am just starting or have changed grades, do I need a new uniform
No, not immediately. By all means continue to wear your old uniform until it needs replacing or you are doing an examination
Are examinations compulsory
While they are not compulsory I do recommend that the children do them. It gives them something to aim for and an opportunity to show their work off to an external examiner and get feedback on what they have achieved.
When will my child be entered for an examination
In short when I believe they are ready. Most children will be able to do one grade each year, although some of the higher grades can take longer. It also depends on how many classes they have been able to attend at that grade.
How do I pay
If possible please make the payments direct to my bank, the details are on the invoice you will have received at the start of the term. Payment should be made by the end of the first week for term. Cheques can be made payable to Oxford Academy of Dance and please put the childs name on the back. Cash is also accepted, please put the money in a sealed envelope with the childs name written on and hand it to the teacher, please ensure you get a receipt for this.

If no payment is received by half term a 10% surcharge will be added.

I no longer wish to continue
If you decide not continue with your classes then I need 6 weeks notice or half a term in lieu. Once a term has started the full term must be paid for. To keep it simple please let me know before the start of your last half term.
